Mars as the astronomer and artist Étienne Léopold Trouvelot drew it on 3 September 1877, at 11.55 at night, from The Trouvelot Astronomical Drawings (1881–82), cut free of its black page so only the planet is printed.
The print
Heavy ring-spun cotton, 207 g/m², dyed after sewing, so it comes soft and a little lived-in. Printed small at the centre of the chest, about 8 × 9 cm, in the drawing’s own colours. The drawing is in the public domain, restored here from a scan of the plate.
Shipping
Free and tracked. The carrier may collect import tax on delivery. Arrived damaged, misprinted or wrong? Write within 14 days with a photo and we replace it or refund you.
Care
